小年夜高雄大地震造成台南維冠大樓倒塌、共116人罹難，為了悼念，今(15)日開工日、開學日，總統府、行政院與全國公家機關、各級學校都降半旗1天，總統府、行政院也取消新春團拜。
台南維冠大樓在此次震災當中倒塌，造成116人罹難、500多人受傷。
為此，馬英九總統原訂今日出席的新春團拜、大陸台商春節聯誼午宴都取消；副總統吳敦義昨(14)日也取消政大校友會的春節團拜行程。行政院方面，原訂今天舉行新春團拜活動也取消。
另一方面，總統府、行政院與全國公家機關、各級學校，今天都降半旗1天，悼念台南維冠大樓的傷亡者。
